Projects

Homelab

A self-hosted homelab built from repurposed enterprise laptops — Docker, reverse proxying, DNS, home automation, and monitoring, all running privately over a mesh VPN.

Why it matters: Self-taught Linux, networking, and systems administration from scratch, skills I now apply to every hands-on project I take on.

Parametric LEGO Duplo Brick Parametric LEGO Duplo Brick

Parametric LEGO Duplo Brick

A LEGO Duplo brick reverse-engineered and modeled parametrically in SolidWorks, driven by an Excel-based variable workflow, then 3D printed and checked for fit against the original.

Why it matters: Demonstrates a parametric, spreadsheet-driven CAD workflow that can flex across dimensions and tolerances instead of being rebuilt from scratch.

Can Crusher Can Crusher

Can Crusher

A team-designed can crusher built in SolidWorks, with an Excel model used to optimize the linkage geometry for maximum crushing force at minimum human input force.

Why it matters: Applied first-principles mechanics and a data-driven Excel model to optimize a real mechanism as part of a three-person team.

High Powered Rocket — Tripoli L1 Certification (In Progress)

High Powered Rocket — Tripoli L1 Certification (In Progress)

A high-powered, solid-motor rocket designed and simulated in OpenRocket for a Tripoli Level 1 certification attempt, simulated to ~535m apogee.

Why it matters: Combines simulation-driven design with hands-on fabrication, working toward a real external certification (Tripoli Level 1).
